I dont think it would on a 2 stroke since it has a large expansion chamber. I can see how it would on a 4 stroke since its just a hollow pipe and needs the bends and baffles/packing to increase back pressure. Should be fine, I did it back in 00' when I had a yamaha blaster and it was fine. Only thing I think that could hurt it is getting moisture in the pipe.

thanks for responding.i was thinking about doing it to see how it would run,faster or slower but did'nt want to hurt any thing .
