60 minute manifold
well if what you can buy won't fit,, build your own,,, i needed a shorter longer manifold to get the carb on the next project 70 ,, i have bought 3 and none of them will do what i want,, so today i built my own,, i started with a piece of 3/8 x 2 flatbar,,

it helps to have the right tools,, i used a mag drill,, to drill the large holes..i used the old manifold to get my hole spacing right, then i drilled the small holes on the drill press,,

then i took my trusty torch and cut them out i scribed a line so i had a idea where to cut them leaving enough material for cleanup,,

so then off to the bench grinder for a little shaping,, and cleanup,, so then i needed a tight bend ,,well i was at bobs atv salvage and picked up an old exhaust pipe ,, it had nice tight bends,,, so i hacked out a piece that was about right,,

then i used a die grinder to open up the holes to fit the pipe nice and snug,, so i will take it home and do the final fitting before welding it all together,,,

when i get it all done i will post a few picts ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

First Class job, Kasey, most excellent! Good old American ingenuity, or engineuity as the case may be. That fat boy drill bit probably cost more than I paid for my latest ATC....
