Cool Some homeshop built parts for XR500

The other night I built some spacers on the lathe and built a kickstand out of rectangle stock. The spacers are to enable me to position the bark busters better than the previous owner. They move the busters out about .85 inches and allow them to be directly in line with the levers . I'm ready for some wipeouts now . I do a lot of trail riding and was really missing the kickstand (there aren't a lot of trees in kansas you know lol.)

thats a great Idea..my tt600 is the same way with the bark busters.. did you have to bend the guards? I think I could make my guards more level with just one spacer.. I see you have two on there..good job

I had to put a little English on the clutch side bark buster. The crossbrace on the answer bars kind of got in the way. The throttle side didn't require as much bending. Thanks for the compliment.
