    finally got rid of that dumb twist throttle!

    its gone from my 350x, and so far, I like it! Ive never been into the 350's carb (or even had the tank off before) that is an interesting set up in there. very easy swap from twist to thumb or vise versa. Now to just switch the 200x back to thumb.......... :-D

    Just wondering what you liked better about the thumb throttle over the twist throttle.I had thought about changing my 350X to a twist throttle.

    People always ask me why I don't have a Twist Throttle an my R. I hate them. I like a thumb throttle.

    Twist throttles on atv's are like thumb throttles on bikes. They just don't feel right.

    im with O.S. on that one.. my 86 trx250r had a P.O.S gunner gasser on it and some times when you stand er up your wrist locks, and of course here comes the powerband!! not good for grab bars.. :evil: :evil: :evil:

    you want to sell your twist throttle? i was raised on dirtbikes so i like the twist much better its more natural for me

    I like my twist throttle. Rode a quad this weekekend with a thumb throttle on it and I didnt like it, twist just feels natural for me.

    when riding in rough woods, standing, leaning, sitting, I find a thumb throttle is easier to control the speed of the motor with, I will keep the twist around though, its a nice Magura unit.

    i dont like

    i dont like the twist throttle on my 200x because when im riding a wheelie, my hand likes to slide and give it full throttle, thats why i dont like them!!!!!
