Breaking something every time you wreck

What do you guys do on your dirtbikes to wreck-proof them. I've got fold back pegs and bark busters but I am always bending peg bolts and then the kicker hits. Just a few minutes ago I slid her and broke my exhaust pipe in half. It's an aluminum pipe and the arrestor sticks out a little past the rear fender. I'm starting to get pissed because I have to fix something every time I ride it. Any suggestions? (besides taking it easy )

Ride on something other than pavement!

I had a pretty ragged out YZ80 last summer, I wrecked it a lot. Replaced the bars a lot, bent the footpegs, half the plastics were shattered... even the rad was bent. The kickstart was broken off as well.
    I'm back in the USSR...
