    250R Airbox Mod

    I just put a carb/intake/reeds off of a 1989 CR250 on my 85 250R. Everything fits EXCEPT the stock rubber boot that goes to the airbox does not reach the carb. The CR carb/intake assembly is about a 1/4 to 1/2" shorter then stock. Does anyone know of a way to extend the boot, use a diffrent material or other suggestion?

    severall companies make a aluminum reed block spacer..look in the mags for advertisements
