If you are doing a budget upgrade, then atc110 intake and carb will fit and will add some extra performance. If you want more, then you'll have to find some of the older performance intakes. The carb would depend on what you have done to the engine. A ct110 cam will give you a slight bit of performance over a stock 90\110 or even better would be if you had a sl90 cam which was a one year only piece but a larger improvement performance wise. A lot of the atc90 performance cams were copies of the sl90 cam alot of the performance intakes were patterned after the sl90 intake but the performance intakes have a larger inner diameter. You would have to do some opening up of the stock head to port match to any of the old performance intakes. Powroll still does the crank and connecting rods for strokers. If you are going big bore and stroke you will have to get head work done. About the biggest piston you can get is 123cc's. If you want to get your cylinder a custom sleeve, you can use a cb750 piston, and with a stroker crank you are right around 183cc's or so. You want to make sure to vent your crank case, by at least adding a vent on your upper rocker arm cover and maybe drilling and tapping your case for ventilation unless you can find the dipstick, case vent combo pieces which are getting really hard to find. If you don't like the hi\lo gear box on the atc90, there are ways around that too. Either a cl90 engine or sl90 engine. Both of those are hand clutches and kickstart, but you can change to pull start with bolt on pieces from the atc90. If you are running a cb750 piston, the sky is the limit with compression. I have personally seen 12.5:1 pistons and have heard higher compressions. At this high of compression you might want to stick to the kick start engines and seriously think of running alcohol. I have a little over 10.1:1 piston in an engine I have now. I will be transferring all in this engine over to either an sl90 or cl90 engines that I have. An oil cooler would be a good idea too. A steel cable in the recoil starter is a must. A roller chain, an aftermarket chain tensioner and an aftermarket rear sprocket are also highly recommended. I'm not sure what the stock compression ration is any more. You can get really radical building the 90s. They were racing them long before there were 185s and 250rs. Either way, have fun.
For the bearing carrier, the piece that was attached to the brake pedal has to be pulled out towards the inside of the frame. Once that is removed, you can just spin the bearing carrier around so that the largest part is out behind the frame and then the side without the brake shoe rest is pulled out towards the back of the frame and it should kind of wiggle or twist out, but it is a little tight. Sometimes a little wd40 helps.
