Anyone try Bud or Bud Lt Clamato Yet?

THe got these 16oz bud and bud lt cans mixed with tomato juice, clam juice, and a hint of lime and salt they are awesome. I'm drinkin a bud lt one now, but am a bud drinker, it's still good though. I use to just mix tomato juice with my beer, but the clam juice is surprisingly good also. If any of you guys are gonna be at Brapp's I might have some Bud Clamatos on hand for you to try.

Sounds like it'll make me puke! Something about clam juice and beer just don't sit well with me. Does it taste fishy?

I absolutly love bloody marys.. so who knows.. I may enjoy this. I'll give it a try tho just to see what it tastes like.

No fishy taste, it goes with the tomato somehow I cant explain. This is just like a bloody mary, but in beer form.

we do the same thing at a crawfish boil when we have kegs, we take a small amount of the boil and mix it with the beer. gives it a good spicy taste.

where can you find these clamato things?

Just make sure you don't spill any on the Tecate . Then again, it might save me on some blasting costs before PCing the thing.....

My sister and brother-in-law have been mixing this concoction for years. I've tried it once, and that was enough. I like beer and tomato juice, but not mixed together. Clam juice? That reminds me of when the Simpsons go to NYC to get Homer's car after Barney parks it at the WTC. Homer eats some disgusting meat on a stick from a middle-easterner, and he sells him crab juice. Just the thought of that makes me nauseous. I could probably find some here if I wanted to, but I think I'll pass.

did some checking it, they have had in New Orleans since early 07 apparently, but i can't find it anywhere.

one cool thing, i stumbled upon Dixie beer, been looking for ages, the second i look for something else...BAM there it is.

yeah, homer drinks like 27 cans of clam juice rather than one mountain dew. ha.

That's the way I drink my beer many times. The clamato juice is just tomato juice with a touch of clam juice. It sort of gives it a meaty taste, kinda, maybe not, hard to explain. I also like to add some Tapatio hot sauce to spice things up a bit.

That clamato stuff has been out a long time. You guys are just now seeing it in stores? I love it. Has that spicy tomato zing to it with the carbonation.
