    More tri moto questions!

Ok any advice is appreciated. I have searched the forum on hub swaps for the ytm175. I have found a few that say the 200x rear hubs will match up. so i took a chance and ordered a pair. So, what about the front hub? It would be nice to be able to run a 10 inch rim but there would have to be a front hub swap again. thought about changing the whole front end to have maybe tri z disc brake and better wheel choices but i thing that is a bit advanced for me just yet. so now im thinking no front brakes and try to get a narrower front tire some how. i have seen a 22x9-8 but would rather go to the 10". any experience here?

The old Honda Odyssey used the same bolt pattern (3x100). Another member and I went in on a pair of new ones that were being ebayed, he sold his yami and mine is still in the shed. The stock Odyssey uses a 5x8 rim but the aftermarket one is 5x10. The holes will need to be drilled out slightly and a spacer with new studs will need to be used as the rim is offset.

Looks like the seller has another set.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/10-di...spagenameZWDVW

You can probably swap out the front hub/rim from the Tri-Z, I have seen a picture of a YT with a 200x front hub/rim but don't know if there is mod work needed.

The deal with the 8" tire is they were big and cushy and took the place of the suspension, shock, forks etc. If you were to chang wheels, then you would have little or no suspension. If you are that interested in changing just the tire and hub, that would probably be hard without changing everything else. Why don't you just find yourself a decent yt175 front end and bolt it on? You still have the big wide tire, but at least you have front suspension.

Fox, that is exactly what i was wondering. if you saw a 200x front hub on a ytm175, then it may work because just as i said, i have read where the splines match on the rear between the ytm175 and the 200x. I have a pair on the way but needed info on the front. Thanks. Vealmonkey, you may have misunderstood but no big deal.
