the 200e is electric start and chain drive, right? there are alot of different motors that will bolt in but some of them have a few different features. The 185, 185s, 200, 200s, 200m, and 200x should all bolt in and work without major mods but the 200m is the only one with electric start.

There are alot of different dirtbike engines that will bolt in as far as I know, like the older xr's and xl's but they will all have a rear-ward kickstart that will hit your fender without some modifications. right now I'm in the process of getting a tlr200 motor for my 200s.

My fenders are ****ed anyway, wow that many engines? If I would have known that I would have strapped my last X's engine in. Electric start is nothing to me really. Never use it anyway, lol.

Thanks! Maybe I can find a engine on eBay.

for the 200x engine, Only the first gen 83-85 will work. Also, I'm not sure but you might have problems mounting the rear brake pedal because the 200x has the pedal on the engine, while the 200s pedal mounts to the frame. I don't know if the 200x brake mounts would get in the way but I doubt that it would cause much of a problem. All major engine mounts should be the same, and a 200x motor would be an upgrade if you ask me. (a little more power and a manual clutch, with kickstart)
