i would think if there are alot of dips or low spots, having a flag would make you more visible and I think getting ran over is over rated anyways

yes on the oregon coast its required to run one on every thing so you dont get run over, that would suck.

I would agree...I used to have one when I was 6 on my bike.....not sure why but I do remember it....I think it was yellow...
