    200es top end

What piston kit will fit the 200es. I have seen several kits on eBay and was wondering which ones will work. Also can you bore the 200 out and make it a 250 or is this not practical.

Most of the ATC 200 pistons will fit, stock size is 65mm, and can go up to 67mm (2mm over). Check what piston is in there now, so you don't buy one too small. Stock for stock, the 200x has a higher compression ratio, but all the Wiseco pistons are 10.25:1

    OEM Matches are:
    ATC185 '80
    ATC185s/200 '81-'83
    ATC200ES '84 BIG RED
    ATC200M '84-'85
    ATC200S '84-'86
    TRX200 '84
    ATC200E '82-'83 (BIG RED)

Something like this will work: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...2em118Q2el1247

    Displacement is as follows:

    Bore x Stroke
    65 x 57.8 Stock = 192cc
    66 x 57.8 1mm over = 198cc
    67 x 57.8 2mm over = 204cc

you use to be able to get a wisco 12:1 200 piton from dennis kirk. but i dont know if they still offer it. dont forget there are some dirt bikes that use the same piston too. ill have to look em up and post them later. i thnk the xr200 is one and a couple other xr bikes as well.

i am currently running a 67mm wisco 10.25:1 piston. runs strong but it isnt a treat to try and pull over with the recoil. but none the less its a noticeable difference. i now have allot of other mods done but i think the bore, better compression, bigger carb, and bassani exhaust were the key mods.

ooo and no you cant bore it to a 250. the cylinder walls just arnt thick enough. if it had thicker walls yea it might work.
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.

    so from what i gather here, a 200s(81-86) piston will fit into a 84 200ES. ?

Yes the top ends are interchangeable on all the 185/200 utility trikes and 83-85 200x

yep just gotta make sure the bore is the same .. but if you gunna swap out the top ends yes all the 185/200 cylinders and heads will fit a 185/200 bottom end ..

This is some good info to have. Not sure why everyone thinks boring gives many more cc's????

What exactly does the compression ratio *(ie a 12 to 1 piston over stock) change? Is there any way to increase CC or any larger cylinders that may fit?
