i would definately find a shop or a buddy with a hydraulic press. just put the fork in a set of v blocks and pump away.

Press and v blocks with a dial indicator would be my suggestion
You could also put it in a lathe, hold it with the tail stock and bend it back into shape....

V blocks and a press is what I use. You might try a local machinest and see if they can do it as well. before I got my press the one local place straighten 3 forks for $25 for all 3 ( but that was 9 years ago ).

i was gonan say if i still had axcess to a 45 ton press i woudl say send them up and i woudl do them for ya but i have always used a pressand v blocks and then chuck them in a lathe to check the runout

You need 3 v blocks, a press, some patience (beer) and a dial indicator. Or ship them to someone who has all that crap, but send along more beer

I'll just say this - I try to keep the supporting blocks about 12"s apart and isolate that bend with a sharpie marker. Otherwise you can end up making an "S" bend. And as Scrawny remembered, you do have to go WAY past the bend to get it right. It springs back bigtime.
