We just upgraded our website idahoatv.net and we are getting a lot of weirdos trying to post smut and advertising on it. What's the best way to stop that from happening?

It gets to be a pain in the rear to maintain. I shut my message board off due to similar things happening.

I'd suggest looking through some of the phpbb tutorials online that cover securing the message boards.

Sometimes free bb software isn't as robust as pay for versions, unless you're a coder and know how to implement security into the forum software yourself.
