Yes, if you use the complete setup. The bearing races may be different but you can tap them out.
1986 200x- old school D.I.D wheels, Gold D.I.D X-Ring Chain, Rad MFG. Carrier, PRM Grab Bar, Pro Circuit T-4 custom, Maier plastics, 85x forks, 18x10.5x8 kenda klaw mxr's on itp steels, the money pit never ends

2004 YFZ450 - CP 12.5:1, cam mod , gibson nerfs, hmf pipe, protaper bars + risers, dg bumper/skids, holeshot gncc's on itps, cycra handguard and more stuff to come.

It should look pretty nice on there. The forks should be tons better than the old 200x ones too. What front wheel are you going to use? Im not positive if the tire/wheel will work but I know alot of the honda trike front ends will swap over easily.

i am going to try the X front tire but won't know for sure until it gets here. I can probably pick up the front wheel off of an R on Ebay if not.

Well almost had it done then realized that the R uses a conical bearing and X uses a thrust type bearing . I went ahead and ordered a new R kit for it. I put it together to get it off my wife's side of the garage and it does deffinately look mean. While I was at it I loaded up the rear shock so it does not squat as much with my 250 lb ass.

Thats what I figured, thoes tapered bearings are much better in my opinion anyway.

Here is a pic of the new forks. With the suspension turned up the front end is really light. Will a swing arm form a 350x or 250r be longer? Has anyone done this swap? Is a 200x front wheel offset different from a 250r? I got it all togehter and the wheel is set closer to one fork than the other.

What did you order? an Allballs 250R bearing kit? I'm just wondering if it comes with everything and they are still a tapered bearing correct??

You should be able to run that wheel, maybe a shim or spacer on the axle but it should work out for you.

What did you do about the steering stops?

    Looks good!!

    Dirtcrasher,

I went to the local Honda shop and the 250R kit was used for the CR's as well. It is a conical type bearing and it fit right down in. I don't have stops on it yet, I have not decided if I am going to weld a set on or if I want to drill some holes in the lower clam and install some SS hex head bolts. I noticed that you have a 350x, can you tell me if the swing arm would fit on a 200. Is it longer? with the front end up and the rear suspension set to stiff the front end on this thing is light and it comes up in the first 4 gears with just a blipp of the throttle and a shift of weight. I need to get it a little longer. I can't use this wheel cause if I shift it over to the brake side the disk bolts wil scrub on the fork. The R wheel must have a different offset.

I am running a 250R front rim on my 200X front end, I had to change the axle spacers and I think I shimmed the caliper 1/4" out.

I doubt any other swinger is a bolt mon and it would have to use the axle and carrier as well even if you could get it on there. Not to mention the shock changes too. If you need it longer I suggest you lengthen your swinger. I have a crappy 86 200X swinger I'd sell cheap if you want to cut it up...
