    Question BIG boys & a 350x. what fork oil? and spring question.

    lets say you were setting up some 350x forks for about 300 pounds. what weight fork oil would you use?

    I have two sets of 350x forks. one set of springs is made of a larger diameter steel. which set is better for a a 300# rider? can i swap the springs between the forks? one set of forks is bent and I am trying to make the best set.

    Fill them with pure grease, lol....

    I'd run 20wt and spring spacers or progressive springs.

    Mr. ATC did a write up over on .ORG on how to put the 83-84 250R dampening rods into the 350X legs. It gives you better dampening and about 1" more travel. I think I also added a 1 1/2" PVC spacer and 15w fork oil.
