Marmite, love it or HATE IT!

Evening all. A while ago i aquired myself a fairly clean 1984 honda 200s. unfortunatly the engine came in lots of little pieces because the piston had got its silly self stuck in the up and down tubey thing. well, got new piston etc..., thought i'd best drain the oil out of the engine before i put it all back together, i took the drain plug out to be confronted with what i can only say resembled Marmite! and it wont come out! Does anyone know what'd be best to get this Gunk out with, without needing to split the crankcase? any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks, Ryan

Well, i'm just gonna bite the bullet and split the crankcase. can make sure everything else is kosher as well then. best get a big knife to spread all that marmite out with!
