Assuming you followed the correct draining procedure, The 86 forks take 465 cc or 15.5 oz of 10w fork oil. You can also use Dexron tranny fluid.

    Lol

And do tell what is the correct drainage procedure. I bought these used and installed them on my 200x so I don't have a manual. Is that per fork or total.

Unscrew the black caps and let the air out,if any
Unscrew the little bolt at the bottom of each leg to drain the oil
    wait 5 min
hold the front brake and push upand down at least 20 x to get the rest of the oil out
Put the bike on a stand so the forks are in the air
unscrew the top of the forks,be ready for the springs to pop up
remove the springs, keep note which end is up, they are tapered
lower the bike so the fork tubes are bottomed out
put the drain bolts back in
fill the forks with 15.5 oz in each leg
    put back on stand
put springs back in, tapered end first
    put cap back on
    Go ride!

If you unscrew the caps first the oil will drain faster and you wont have to pump them 20x . Its like poping the gas can breather!!
