finally got a nice running trike now!

d my 200x in a million pieces for about 2 years now and i finally just found a good deal on a 83 atc200 that looks brand new!! guy said his dad bought it back in the day and it sat in the gradge most of the time but hed start it up and dag his kids around in the snow. then this las spring he said it wouldnt start anymore. i brought it home for 425 and cleaned the carb which was the worst carb ive ever secne. and now it runs like a top and starts with only half a pul cold. its a really nice sweet clean clean bike ive been riding it all week around in the snow

yea me and my buddy (has a 82 200e) went out ALL day long yesterday bumbimg around on trails and stuff it was awsome. im really looking forward to getting something done with this 85x though i really would like to make a nice ice racer out of it after seeing raffas and chrisds vids it looks sweet.. but ill have to put somthing other then that old 200x motor together to keep up... id love to put in a 125 or 250 2 smoker in there but id have to do alot of custom work.. now that i have soemthing other then the 05 kx125 to ride i feel alot more at ease hacking it up a little bit.

Those are some HUGE mudflaps on the back! Aside from that, she looks mighty clean for 400 bucks. Very good buy.

Thats a really nice looking bike you got there! It even still has the chain guard in one piece! A very good deal for 425!

yea i found the onwers manual in the trunk along with a new clymers manual. when i went to see the bike the guy said it doesnt run but it ran last spring. he said his dad bought it new in 83 and used it like 10 times for camping and then let it sit in the gradge for ever. i sprayd some start fluild in the intake and it popped so i was like hey ill give you 400 not runing... he was asking 499 he was like 450 and i said all i had was 425 ... lol come on meet me half way so he said load it up i get it home and clean the car.. which by the way was the worst coroded carb ive ever seen and it starts first pull hot or cold and runs like a top the whole day all day. def very low hours. the only drawback is the headlight dont work but that just might be the bulb i havent even checked it out. now i need somthing for my 200x to compete on the ice next raffa fest!! this guy has a 185s for 100 bucks with hole shot 18s and a nice front tire and he said that it will pop when he sprays starter fluild in there ...lol mioght just put that auto motor in my x for now till i can find something else to be competion.

Sounds and looks like the 1984 200 I picked up last summer, friends uncle used it on the trap line for two years then it pretty much sat in the garage till I got it, cleaned the carb and changed the oil and plug. Even after sitting all winter it fired up second pull without hesitation. I only talked mine down to $450 though, theyre hard to find around here!
