That thing looks really funky at the sprocket mount area.It is not thick enough.Looks like someone ground it down.Maybe it is just the pic.
86-89 250R Axles are all the same.
Some say the 400ex axles fit them as well,but you have to use 400ex hubs for the wheels.
I personally have never tried a 400ex axle in the 250r,just what I heard thru the grapevine.

The center area just still has grease on it. It has not been ground. I bought a 350x this weekend and the guy had several used parts including a 250 r swing arm that was on the x when he bought it. I did not ask but I assume that this is the axle that went with the Pro-Link swing arm.
