Selling On Ebay, Are We Allowed To .......

When you sell one item of a particular machine but have that whole machine for sale parts wise, are we allowed to post a picture of that machine along with that one item and mention to contact me if they have other items of interest ?

......and if so, would I have to list that item then on ebay? Is it "policed" by ebay that much that I could get the add deleted or warned or that's no big deal to do so?

I'm quite sure I have seen it done often but that doesn't mean it's OK to do, so that's why I'm asking.

huffa that's how I come into a lot of parts. Hell RPM_ATV says to contact him if you need ANYTHING that isn't listed, he can get it for you. I don't think it will be policed by ebay, as any other purchases will occur outside of ebay even though you technically used them to advertise.

I've parted out some machines but have only listed a few items. Somewhere in my description I always mention that I have more parts for that machine and for interested parties to contact me for needed parts that aren't listed.
for example: I am parting out this machine and others. If you contact me for other parts I can list them in a buy it now auction.

When that person contacts you you can make arangements however you like. Use paypal to make you and the buyer protected. I have sold more parts this way.
Usually I list the parts that I know are the more desired parts, and people ask about the other stuff. doing it this way saves you some ebay fees for items that might not sell. Hope this helps

My buddy bought a mint 200x for $400 and put a pic of the whole machine and all he was selling was the exhaust. And someone offered him $1200.00 for the whole machine and it was SOLD........lol

So long as you say that you will list any requested items the ebay gestapo will leave you alone. I'm parting a tr4a right now and have made just as much under ebays nose as in the auctions.
