fork swap?(is anyone familier with this thread?)

So last night i did a deeper search on the front end swap I want to do with my 200e and found this thread http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/s...ight=fork+swap . I was wondering if anyone is around that remembers the overall outcome and how the bearing races were made larger to fit the stock 200x steering stem? also do you guys think that the one cap nut on the top of steering stem is secure enough to hold or does it realy need to have both the retaining nut and the cap nut? I'm not sure if this guy is around any more?

If you've been searching, then maybe you noticed the other thread where the guy swapped the front end out. He took the steering stem from the non suspended trike and added it to the 200x front forks. Took a little work, but a much safer and sturdier set of forks in the end. Do the search and look for that thread.

are you refering to this one http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/s...ad.php?t=78737 ? if not probably something to the same effect. I would rather not permanately change the existing steering stems incase i choose to go back to the original design. i read the thread that i pasted in the first post and it sounds like he just used the original 200x steerinrg stem hense the questions i have above.
