Anyone play the stock market?

I am new to it but i have made a bunch of money in the last month. I am up a little over 25x what i have put into it. I dont even know what i am doing. I just watch tv and see something i think is new and cool and buy stocks in it. Is this normal or am i just getting lucky? My wife is telling me to take my gain and run.

I did it for awhile, are you on etrade? or did you get a broker to help you? Ive been thinking about dabbling in it again, way back in highschool I led the state in the stock market game through the schools, when all the students went and spent there "play" money on big names (small amount of stocks) I spent my money on first harley davidson, then sold my shares to buy polairs stocks right before new models came out, buy the time I sold my 5th set of stocks I was #1 in the state. It can be a dicey game to play, but once you make you initial investment back then use the excess to dabble in it, be carefull and decisive, and if you go through a broker watch there fees and make sure they have some good people working for them.

edit: oops I ment that I did stocks for awhile again a couple of years ago, made a few thousand screwing off and signed off , before I did anything stupid
