Hi,
One week ago I bought a Tecate 86. I just have cleaned it a bit since last week and today I putted back the tank fuel and the air box (the air filter has been cleaned too). When I bought the tecate it was running on low fuel level in tank so today I added new fresh fuel/oil mixture.
When I try to kickstart it all my fuel was coming out by the three overflow hoses of the carb ! I was totally in chock. I put a bucket and let it drain and it eventually stop flowing when fuel in the tank was at the reserve level.
I decided to have another go and putted some fuel back in the tank and this time no overflow at all ! I started the tecate without any problem and it even idles perfect.
I don't really understand what has happened with the fuel the first time and I am scared it could happen again ! Has someone already had this same problem ?
