Chain adjustment (and clip of Jumping 125M)

    Jump clips:

(The batteries died at the end of the second clip or there would have been more!! )

So today I went riding and we started out jumping a small bank, then about two miles after that my chain started jumping off the back sprocket. Can I fix the problem like this:

    zoomerman:

"to tighten the chain there are four bolts holding the axle. you loosen them and them pull the axle back and tighten a little 12mm bolt until it's at the correct tension. then tighten the big 17mm bolts back up"

Or should I just take links out of the chain?

    BTW: I have an '85 125M

    Thanks

In your first post you talk about tightening a 12 mm nut. That is your chain tensiorer.

Theres a chain tensioner, its adjusted by loosening a bolt by the rear brake pedal.
