[QUOTE=norms125m;601839]oil's too thick in fuel mixture cloggin up carb ports[/QUOT Do you mean my oil gas ratio is to rich?
What is the temperature outside? I think he means the cold weather affect the gas/oil premix and cause this symptoms.

its been doing this all summer fall winter it does not seem to matter!
gas cap off, good fuel flow, carb just rebuilt still a no go!
try shutting fuel pet cock off.and drain carb, you should get at least half a carb cleaner cap full of gas.if you do ,have a buddy squirt some premix gas out of an oil can into carb inlet slowly as you start it.wd-40 will work also .I'm betting is a carb problem .float hanging or something plugged.were all passages checked when rebuilt or just a kit? hope this helps Ron.
compression good what about reeds any chance there?
all passages check they said one jet was plugged just put it back on today
did you try pulling drain screw to check fuel flow past needle&seat?
please explain undo the bottom of the carb then open throttle to see if i get good fuel flow?

Did you check for spark? Try a new spark plug? Does it pop, backfire, bog, ect.. need more info. Did it just die one day or did you buy this way?
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.
