if you want an indestructible tire...go with a kenda bearclaw. 6ply, with no air in them you can't tell. I put some serious mileage on my old ones for three years, and when i sold the bike, he tires were still in great shape.
i don't think a single rock will be able to tear up that sidewall either.

LMAO, serious? The Bear Claw is about the worst suggestion you could make for a 350x! I mean if you need 6ply Kenda you'd want to go with a Klaw XC.

the tire is heavy man, 26 pounds actually, but on any terrain except mud...it slides A LOT. all about pounds per square inch. the 350x has the torque to pull them easily, i had them on a 250 yami that had 12ft pounds of torque and it could spin them in 3rd.
plus if you go with the 22x12x9, it will sit at about 21 inches at 3psi and be nearly 14 inches wide.
i'm very curious though, why don't ya like em? lol
i would have to agree about the duro's.
if they are too loose, you could just drop air a little.
Handling! It's a sport machine not a ute. Save the tractor lugs for a Big Red.![]()
You don't want all that weight in your tires. You'll get your best performance out of a nice light 2 ply tire. I wouldn't go any more then that on a trike. I sure wouldn't go with a 22" either. Each man likes their own setup but you still need to know your handicaps. With that Zoolander avatar I just assumed you were a little more in tune with performance riding. Either way, if you needed extra ground clearance and want a heavy duty tire go with a 21" Knarly XC or a Holeshot GNCC. Both of those tires will be lighter and perform better then a Bear Claw.

I still say Turf Tamers make for one sexy ass on a trike!

ha, the bearclaw was in response to dirtcrasher's comment about tearing up a sidewall...that won't happen with a bearclaw. I personally only have 18in and 20in duros on my bikes.
but i won't lie to you, if using the throttle for your turns, the bearclaw might honestly NOT be that bad. just because of how easy it slides, how stiff, and how wide it is. honestly, when was the last time you saw a tire that measured over 14 inches wide on the back of a trike?
for performance, I like duros.
I run them on my 200x and like them alot. I havent had any puntures in them yet and been riding them for 2 years. I have 2 friends that use them on there 400s and 450 and they like them to.
