How much spark should there be??

I have gone just about crazy playing w/ jetting on my 84 r aircooled. I have jetted to scary low #'s and it will still foul the f'in plug. I've gone through 29 NGK br7 & br8es's. I put in another new plug today and decided to check the spark b-4 installing it. As i turned the motor over i could barely, I mean BARELY, see the spark. How much should I see??. I know its hard to say what I should see, but what's a good idea or do u have any pics?? Maybe this is my whole problem??

Try it at night, the plug needs to be grounded. It should be a pretty good blue spark, the harder you kick the faster the spark. You could alway grab the plug and crank it, you'll know if its a hard spark or not. lol

Have you tried running without the air filter? Check the reeds?
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.
