Hey guys, I am getting a 350x that has 3 of the exhaust header bolts broken off. The guy I am getting it from was trying to put on a new head pip and 3 of the bolts snapped. So now there is just a little bit sticking out of the engine.
What is the best way to go about this. He already tried heat, vise grips, everything. I was thinking I was going to have to drill it out and re tap the holes? Is there anything else I should try? Is there any secrets to drilling and re taping? Thanks.

i wouldnt drill and tap unless its your last hope. if you have acess to a welder take a nut that fits over the stud and weld it to them, thend cool the stud and leave the haed hot and try to slowly screw the stud in and out. also you may try tapping straight in on the end of it to break them loose and be sure to use plenty of penetrating oil as well.
