powder coating parts

I have a buddy who works at a powder coating shop and can powder coat anything I want for free. I was thinking bout doing my stock exhaust system. Is this a good idea or will it flake off?, I was thinking bout giving him a few odds and ends parts like footpegs and other things, does any one know any good ideas to get coated...thanks

EVERYTHING. Haha. If he uses a high heat powder then it will hold up on the exhaust. They may them for that. If he uses standard powder, say he does black, it will grey overtime.
