    84/85 Atc500???

Just picked up a good running 84 air cooled cr500 for $75. Been looking at my 85 250r with ideas of a swap ever since. Not sure if gutting out the liquid r to stuff in a big bore air fooler is a good idea though. Has anybody ever done anything like this before. What do you guys think?

If it was me I would buy a 1981-1984 aircooled 250r roller frame since the motors almost bolt in with some new motor mounts and spacers. contact Bigbore here on the boards he is doin a 1982 atc480r and a 1984 atc480r.

The air cooled 500 is left hand drive and has a right side pipe...

don't you just love when everything gets all misconstrued.

i'd say don't ruin your 85 by doing it to the liquid. now if you find an old aircooled roller or something, knock yourself out.
