Is this the correct XR200 carb.

I've searched and what few pics I've found almost alway shows a carb that looks identical to the stock 200X carb only its a little bigger I guess. I have a 1981 XR200 I'm getting the carb from that has a 28-30mm (haven't measured it yet) Mikuni on it that looks just like this one:

    That look right?

I'm not sure what you are asking. That auction is not stock a XR carb. Like you said the XR carb looks (and mounts) like a 200x carb. Do you have the other type of mount so you can mount this carb.?

I got the first carb from the same seller, works great even though its a generic carb. It fits stock honda jets also.

The Mikuni I've got doesn't have a flange on the carb but a rubber intake boot that bolts to the head, then the carb slips into the boot and clamps to hold it in place. The inlet side of the carb was only a hair bigger then the stock carb so the stock inlet hose will work still. I may have to build a short intake tube though to get the angle and length right so it all fits up.

I didn't realize the XR200 carb was the stock looking type. I think I'll try this Mikuni first and see what it will do.

I meaured the spare parts mikuni I've got and its a 29mm. It doesn't have a choke butterfly either, its got a choke lever on the top of the carb that I'm assuming moves a valve or something to let extra fuel out of a passage in the side of the bore. It works because I've rode the bike its coming off of and it ran really good for a 185S engine (the XR crank went bad and we put an old 185 engine in it). The intake manifold will take some work though.
