Is that the price for just reworking the crank?

Do they supply a spacer plate or something too??

That's just the stroke work to the crank, and a new rod/pin assembly. They heat and compress the rod so no spacer needed.

So they gave you a "stroker" with "shrunken rod" work and that cost 400$?? That included a new rod and lower bearing but still the crank/main bearings you sent them right??

So..... Truing, balancing and stroking a crank is what this cost is....

I'm just trying to help us all understand the costs involved, some guys can't appreciate it.....

    Yes
The crank/main bearings that were on the crank when I sent it to them were good and reusable.

    Ahh,,,, my dog! Thanks man
I hate to say it but it's probably gonna be a long assembly. I'm trying to do everything top notch, and that shits expensive lol. That and I'm making a few upgrades all at the same time.

Nothing wrong with doing it right the first time! I am sure it is very expensive but I can’t imagine that it will be anything short of amazing. I think that powroll work has been dreamed off by everyone who has ever owned a 200x.

I can very close to doing the powerroll thing with my 200X motor. After I found out about the kicker problem and second gear becoming a problem,i decided to spend my money on something else.

I am shure you are aware of these problem.

I can't wait to see a video of this biatch rippin it up.

True True, and there's like almost no concrete info on the 200x stroker on either forums. I'll be taking pictures and posting info along the way. It's going in a '91 XR bottom end with the X side cases. I'm flipin the kicker gears so I got forward kick. The top end is going to be done right too. 10.5-1 with the needle bearing torque cam with all the goodies to make that work right. PnP head w/31mm mikuni. Right now I need to get a media blast on the motor and a powder coat. I've had this project started for a few years, finally I'm making progress.

Yep, I'm aware, and have put a little thought there. As For as the kicker gears... That's the reason why I'm going with the 10.5-1, and I'm adding a decomp with a lever at the handle bars. I'm considering going with the Cryogenic gear treatment you posted a while back. The tranny gears on the XR are a little narrower and I want to crack the throttle knowing I did all I could do not to crack the gears.
