84 Super Red 200 Rear Brakes

Hey guys i own an 84 super red 200 with low and high ratio gear box and shaft drive.Electric start model (I think in the states you guys call them big reds)
It looks like my rear shoes need replacing is there anything i should watch for in particular before i drain the oil and remove the cover?
Do i have to take a drive shaft out?
    Thanks in advance.
    Chris

No is very simple and you dont have to drain the differential oil.

Thanks for that do i just undo the ring of bolts then pull the housing off? Are the shoes inside that same housing.
