it all run about 50 tops but thats fast for a tractor. the transmission is geared real low for pulling. we mostely go mud slinging with it. you dump the clutch and them big old tires will spinn like hell. its handles gool but its rough without suspension. its only 2 whd bot it will out pull a 4wd truck most of the time. i havent gotted it stuck so far. im trying to keep it nice so may be some day i will put it in the tarctor shows.

HELL YEAH! I bet the puppy pulls the front wheels like no-body's business. How did you get the transmission to bolt up? Are there kit's for them?

keep a hold of that tractor! Ford 8n's are getting more rare day to day. but why a 350 chevy and not a 351 Ford? keep Ford with Ford man!! very awesome tractor tho!! i want to do something like that with an International 660 turbo or a 1466 turbo. maybe drop a 460 in it

Well bubba where did you go? More pics, you have everyone looking and asking questions. How do those 38" lug tires handle at 50MPH? And is that small block hooked thru the Ford 4-speed trans or the dual range Sherman trans?

Wish we wouldn't have sold ours... Had one about a year ago and did in fact sell it to a buddy of my dad's who was going for a total resto.

Right now we have an old Farmall Model M (with the narrow front tires) Runs awsome. I use it to plow snow in the winter. Chains on the Rears. But damn it need new rubber... almost worth more than the tractor itself.
