    200m crank seals??

bought a 84 honda 200m for super cheap but it has a problem that i cant figure out.

it starts right away, but theres alot of whitish smoke in the exhaust and the idleing is eratic! very fast idle even with the idle screw backed all the way out, if left running for a minute it will slow down a bit but then when you rev it up it stays reving high again.... you can hear some sputters and it does stall aswell.
the plug does look a bit wet and there is black carbon built up on the tip.

im thinking it is getting air somewhere.. would a bad crank seal cause this problem? and if so, can they be changed without splitting the engine?

    thanks for any advice.

if it has a crank seal its just to keep oil off the flywheel.... some honda 4 strokes have 1 seal and some dont

ether way this seal will not cause smokeing..... just a wet flywheel

been lookin over the shop manual for this bike and thinking the carb then might have one or more plugged jets as seeing this bike was sitting for awhile.

probably pickup some carb cleaner and carefully clean all the jets and the housing.

would the slowjet cause this type of problem if it was plugged?
