Is there any other rear fender that will fit dimension wise (I can always drill holes/make brackets if needed) that look more like the 86-87 200X fenders? I want white and Maier makes them in white for the 83-85 style but I just hate the boring look of them. I'd like to keep my stock seat since its literally in perfect condition. I know the front is getting an 85-86 250R white fender and I want the rear to match that styling.

I personally haven't tried it, but theres a guy on .org that used '86/'87 200X rear fenders on his '85.
It looked good and he said it was pretty easy. I've been thinking of trying it out when I can afford it.

I have been wondering the same thing. The 86-87 rear fenders look great. I wish i could put one on my 85!?!

The 86-87 200x and 85-86 250R fenders will fit the 1983-1985 200X with a little work. The seat alignment will take some work for the 250R fenders (I never got to that point on mine), I don't remember how the seat lines up with the 86-87 200x fenders.

Finally got registered and that actually looks good. I'd loose the little black rubber pieces on the ends of the tank and repaint it so its actually white and not dull white looking but fitment wise thats not bad at all.
