    low compression 84 200s

top end finally gave up. It is reading at 40lbs. What is the best compression i could hope for after new piston/rings and gaskets for top end without boring? I was reading manual but I am not sure I under stand. Says Cylinder Compression 156+_ (Plus is on top of underscrore) 14psi. Does that mean give or take on the 156?

    Thanks

It all depends on the condition and wear of your cylinder, If its worn out you might be at the same compression after re-ringing it. Do it once, Do it right.

Also you need to tear it down first and make sure your cylinder isnt gouged or out of round, and your valves and piston arent burnt.
