    powder coating engine cases?????

I am currently in the process of restoring a 1980 atc70. I am having the engine cases powder coated and was wondering if I needed to remove the bearings that are pressed into the cases. Will the heat process of powdercoating hurt these bearings? Has anyone else done this?

strip them right down bare..seals,bearings,keepers... put a old bolt on each hole too keep the crap out ..or it will be a PITA.. your PCer should have plugs to fit in the bearing races..most do
