backyard ALT 50 resto with pics

Almost finished with this little buggy. Pick it up for under $100. Tore the whole bike apart and repainted everything. Carb rebuild was all it needed. Bought a new rear fender assembly and seat cover. Runs like a top. I need help though. Cannot find a front fender anywhere??? Any suggestions on making one or refurbing this one?

Thanks for your help and enjoy.

It's looking good, spending some time on that front fender will make the difference though. If you don't mind burning a few hours follow Chainsaw's plastic restoration tips.... http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/s...hlight=plastic

Thanks for the advise on the plastic renewing. After an hour of sanding this is how it turned out. Looks like brand new.

    Thanks again.

funny thing is, I tried to put her (my 18 month old daughter) on it with me today and all she did was scream! So maybe I will have to wait a little longer. Time to by some fuel sabilizer.

Very nice work. You could get a lot more than 100 now.

What would something like this be worth? I know it is rare only being made for 2 yrs.

$500. I thought more like $800. Not that I am going to sell it anyway. If the little one never uses it, I will hang it from my garage ceiling as a conversation piece. Or, wait for a son...
