Do you mean just to break it free??
We tried it on a backhoe, oiled it up for weeks but it didn't break free.
However, there has been lots of success stories with MARVEL oil.....

no I mean just to clean up piston etc.. You pour a little in spark hole and leave it sit over night. Come back next morning and stick a rag into the spark hole a turn the engine over a few times to absorb some of the mmo from inside motor. Then place spark plug back in and fire up motor. Note* may take a few minutes to get it to start. Once it does it smokes pretty good. Did this on our car and it brought the compressions ratios up from like 120's to 150's. Suppose to clean inerds. Car has 240,000 miles (saturn). I don't see how it would hurt a small engine. Kind of like a seafoam the longer left in cylinder the better.

i dont see any issues with it and have used marvel to break free alot of trikes that woudl have been written off as parts with it with abotu 75% sucess

I find myself eye-balling Marvel evertime I go down the oil aisle at wally marts, but have never tried it. Maybe I need to give it a try!

i used it on a 67 firebird that hadn't run in 7 years and it broke that motor free. just removed the plugs and poured some in each cylinder and just let it sit and do its thing

and i keep a gallon of it in my truck for in case i need it or i have used it for fuel in my f250 already when i ran out.
