200x Trike info needed.

Hello Trike Fans!

I was just wondering if anyone on this forum ever heard of a 1988 Honda 200x 3 Wheeler?

I've seen 1984 to 1987, but never heard of an 1988.

One of my customers was telling me he has a 1988 200x for sale, and he swears it's an 88.

If it's true then I'm going to give him the $1000 he wants for it so I can claim I have something rare..

nope, no 88's. only 88 was the big red and that was not sold in the usa. to get the year, get the vin number, or look at the id tag. the tag is most likely on the steering stem, and i have also seen it on the frame in front of the engine by the exhaust head pipe. the 1st gen 200x was made from 83-85, and the 2nd gen from 86-87.

i second that notion on 86-87 in decent shape but hell if its an 88 then its the grail of trikes and if there is an 88 big red who has one never heard of one myself but im sure like bigfoot they all exist

only 579 were made, and none were sold in the usa. they were only sold in the UK, Europe and Australia.
