    200X exhaust interchange?

    theres a 200s exhaust on ebay. Its advertised as a 200X pipe too. Does anyone know if they interchange? Ive got a 84 X and curious if this would work? thanks jim

    Dosent look like it will work, the mid section of the pipe isnt bent like the 200x, so it may not clear the frame.

    Don't forget the 200s is a center mount tailpipe

    The header from a 250es is the same shape as a 200s but unfortunately doesn't look like it would fit right at the head.
    I'm pretty sure the exhaust from a 200e is the same shape as the 200x, but I'm not 100% sure.

    I've got (well my dad has it but doesn't even know what it is) a Bassani 185/200S muffler thats in good shape. I experimented with it on my 200X and without chopping it up there's just no way it would ever fit. Its too long and the angles are all wrong.
    1984 200X bored .040 over, mild port work, K&N filter
    Planning on custom exhaust, XR200 carb and cam

    I came across this ancient thread while searching… I found a very minty 200x muffler locally, and I was wondering if it would fit the 350x head pipe? Seller thinks “they’re the same” and I know the baffle inside interchanges but it’s not cheap so I don’t want to buy it if it won’t fit. I don’t want to cut it up if that can be avoided.

    No. The only thing that swaps is the rear grab bars.
