New to the board
i need help with my 81 atc 185s, the cam chain feel off ao some one told me to take the head off or whwere the valves are. then tilt the the valves are to put the chain on. i no this sounds a little weird, but im new at this. i went to time this thing myself and i believe idid it the way the manual showed me on the com. I lined all of the marking up and made sure the piston was up and it will not start. will one of my fellow three wheeler please help me. there is no friend like a t.w friend thor 36.

Is the T on the flywheel is aligned, when the O on the cam sprocket is aligned with the head, while the cam lobs are pointing down? If yes the cam is line up right.
is the plusar lined up with the pickup coil while the F mark ins on the flywheel lined up? and is the gap right? also if the plusar fitting on the pin right on the cam sproket shaft? of so she shoud, be timmed for spark right.
di u hit a wire while putting it back together or anything?
