sprocket hub ?? help

i have a 83 250r when i got it the kid gave me this axle with it. the axle fits in the bearing carrier i have. the bearing carrier is from an 83 250r thanks to ebay. but i bought 83 250r sprocket hub is what it said it was but you see in the pics thats it dosent spline up or press on. do i have a diferent axle or a different sprocket hub????

that hub looks like my 200x hub. maybe its off a 200x or the axle is 200x and the hub is off a R ? i dont know too much about the R ut that hub looks like a x hub to me.
