    84 Yamaha running bad

    I bought an 84 Yamaha 3 wheeler and is runs like sh*t and can't figure out why. I changed the plug, air filter, cleaner the carb, intake box, and tube..it smokes like a mosquito killer and it seems to have no power. I'm thinkin it might be time for a rebuild but the guy I bought it from said it belonged to his grandfather in-law and he said he hardly ever rode it. When he was showin me the bike.. it didn't smoke or anything..but as soon as I get it home..its a peice of..ya know..but any suggestions? Much appreciated.

    Yah sounds like you need some rings. Did you ride it before you bought it? and it didnt smoke?....somthin dont sound quite right

    Did you see if the choke is on or broken cable and stuck on
