whats going on everyone.. I just bought an 84 yamaha 225dx and i was just wondering what fluids does this thing take, does it have an oil filter, and what type of fluids do i need to buy to give this thing a tune up. thanks for any advice.

Go to the home page here at 3ww and there will be links to manuals for your bike. I ride a 84 ytm 200 and it has a screen oil filter. I run 10w-40 all year long in my bike. I choose to run spectro oil it's good stuff.

5-W30 will be good for crankcase oil.
Filter can be found behind small round cover on the right side of the motor,sitting on it.
Change the gas,new plug,rebuilt the carb.
