    fuel tank leaks

    has anyone tired to remove rust from a fuel tank. I was wonder the best method for doing this. Any and all help please would be greatly appreciated.

    I use muriatic acid. You will need to seal it up after your done. There also a lot of products made for cleaning tanks.

    Dennis Kirk has some stuff called Kreem that works good. On a teenage budget I've used diesel fuel and put nuts and bolts in the tank and shake it.

    use clr, or phosphoric acid, recoat with redkote we talked about this, you have a nice trike the simplest fix for the thing is to get a clark plastic tank. 100 bucks and your good to go.
