New to the board
axle carrier 84 250r fooler
Sup all I am still restoring my 84 250r fooler and I was replacing the bearings in the rear axle carrier and well to make a long story short I broke the axle carrier and the rod inside it as well. I called up my local shop and they told me it was discontinued. Can I use a axle carrier and all the stuff inside from a different trike or quad. This discontinued part sh*t is killing me. Almost ready to call it quits!

i hear ya on the discontinued crap man. it sucks.
not too sure what to do in your situation, but someone will chime in. i am also interested in this, as i am quite sure i will need one in the future.

great carriers, just dont like the tapered myself, double row is the way to go.

hey jdawg, i was needing one myself a while back b/c i broke off all the teeth on the right side. no one on the boards seemed to have one so i got on ebay and found one for really cheap in excellent condition. check ebay, there is a guy that right now is parting out a couple of 83-84 250r's. i have bought various items from him for my 83 for future use. unless you really wanna spend $300 one a new machined one... check ebay
