    Where to drag race???

Okay folks we need your help. Thunder Valley has been closed. We need to know of any other possibilities for drag racing. Does anyone know of any other places that hold dirt drags in eastern Ohio or western Pa. ?

Thanks Bryan but I was hoping to find something a little closer to home. Looks like Lawton is about seven hours or so away. I found a place in West Virginia that is about two hours away. They have a test and tune day May 4th.

Here is a link to this track in W.V. . It actually looks pretty nice. It's right off of I-77.

We will be going to the test and tune on May 4th weather permitting. It starts at noon and goes all day. $15 per bike.

I may have found yet another place in Ohio that is within a reasonable driving distance. It's in Lisbon, Ohio. Here is the link for those interested.

I raced a season or two there and I know for sure, Blair Bedford does NOT allow 3 wheelers now....can't even have them on the grounds. NOT a good track to race at, Bikes, 3 OR 4 wheelers. They start early in the day...9-10am...and I have been there running two classes....never got a pass until 8pm or later., and sometimes if they can't finish by 1am, they require you to show up Sunday to finish. There is a HUGE amount of motorcycles that race there and a very large amount of ATVs too. They do very little to keep the racing clean as well. Lots of guys running out of their class..modded ATVs (strokers, porting, bigbores) in the stock classes and above the class limits on displacement. On top of all that BS, they are not the cheapest place to run. They require you to "purchase" a number for the season even if you just want to run one or two races. Last check, your # cost $35.00. Add a $10 gate fee, $20 per class and add your fuel costs, it will cost ya OVER $100 to race there. I don't like busting on anybody organizing ATV racing, but this place has gone downhill with GREED over the years. If they were to separate the motorcycles from the ATVs and run them on different days...it would help quite a bit. Sucks to just sit around for HOURS and HOURS to end up lining up with a guy on a "illegal" machine and get put on the trailer with little or no chance at a win. Anyway. Just thought I'd let ya know how this track has evolved. Not good.
